TOPAS station functioning principle

Functioning of the aeration station Topas is based on a combination of biological treatment process and small-bubble aeration process (artificial air giving) to oxidize organic components of the waste water.

Waste waters of the sewer system come in the reception chamber, where its entering become equal; a preliminary biological and mechanical purification is making. As a preliminary cleaned waste water is pumping by air lift recycling to air tank, where the final stage of destroying of organic components by oxidizing with active silt is performed. After that, mix of cleaned water and active silt is going to the secondary settling tank (pyramid), where the active slit coming out from cleaned water due to gravitation. Silt is going down in the lower part of the tank and then again goes to aired space of the air tank.

After several cycles, it is forwarded to the stabilizer of silt through air lift recycling. Worked out stabilized silt gradually accumulates in the stabilizer and periodically removed with air lift through the hose. Pumped out stabilized silt can be used as a fertilizer.
